I missed taking a picture a few weeks back when I hiked Beus. I'll have to hike it again and tell why I like that one.
On Thursday some of us girls were able to meet up on 27th street for a little hike. I am happy that my two friends Talaya and Kira only work a few times a week this summer so now maybe I have some friends to go on some hikes during the week or hang out with (hopefully). I like the 27th street hike because of the natural spring that people come and fill their water bottles or wash their faces after a trail run. I also like it because its lush this time of year with huge leaved plants covering the ground. Today was nice to chill with some friends and have a picnic by the tiny pond that the dogs love to jump in and out of. Ursala (Kira's dog) had a great time playing with a few dogs who stopped to play for a bit.
Andy and I went hiking with The Stinnetts. I think hiking with friends is right up there with playing board games for me. It is such a great way to hang out with friends and their families. We had a great time! We are moving closer to this lovely couple next month so hopefully we will be able to hike many more mountains with them. Dakota stayed with the Stinnetts for a few days while we went on a trip. He really missed them and had so much fun trying to show off and play with the kids.
