The Book of Ezra is devoted to events occurring in the land of Israel at the time of the return from the Babylonian captivity and following years, covering a period. The emphasis in Ezra is on the rebuilding of the Temple. Ezra was a man who knew God's laws and was getting the Jews back on track. God always fulfills his promises and uses people, such as Ezra to get us out of the messes we keep getting back into. What a graceful God.
