Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks

I thought that Zion was my favorite National Park but I think I may have changed my mind to Bryce Canyon National Park... at least on this trip. Of course it may change in the future because I love all of them for different reasons.
One of the reasons I LOVE Bryce is because the rock formations and colors and the way its so easy to see the park from the top and the bottom. The switch backs are incredible and its so fun to go through small tunnels and arches to see another gorgeous view. This is also my second time being in Bryce. The first time I went with Andy and some friends while we were dating. Its kinda funny to think that we slept in separate tents while we both probably wanted to be in the same one and cuddle to keep warm. Four years ago almost exactly we are married with a beautiful baby girl.

Although there are many special places to see in the United States, few offer a spectacular view similar to Cedar Breaks National Monument.  We had the chance to stand above 10,000 feet on a cliff edge surrounded by lush forests and flower-covered meadows looking into a desert amphitheater 2,500 feet deep, covered with incredible, multi-colored hoodoos. However we did this the morning after Bryce and we had shorts on and since it was early and so high up it was cold so we just got of the car to take a peak and got back in the car to have lunch and headed back home to our comfy beds and baby routine :) What a wonderful road trip.
