Early Wednesday morning we left for Natural Bridges. It was nice because Alyeska slept for half of the drive and the other part she was a fantastic traveler. Nothing gold fish, milk or a toy couldn't fix. I was so proud of her on our whole 3 day, 2 night vacation. Even at the two different hotels she slept through the nights. I hope she continues to be a great traveler.
We got to Natural Bridges by about 1:30 after we stopped for lunch in Monticello. We did a fairly strenuous hike down and back up to a bridge. We got to use awesome ladders on a few parts. Alyeska fell asleep in the backpack at one point :) I learned the way to tell the difference between an arch and a bridge is that water runs through a bridge and water is what helps form it.
Later we ate dinner and stayed in Monticello, which is a pretty small town with many old abandoned buildings. We were surprised they had an LDS temple there.
