Paying it forward

It's crazy how many friends and family want to go out of their way to bless us. I wonder what we did to deserve such offerings. It makes me teary eyed just thinking about it and makes me want to pay it forward in anyway I can to others who may need our help. I also don't want to take no for an answer when I am paying it forward. Andy is so good about asking for help and receiving it, where I always say oh thanks so much but I think we've got it covered.

We've already had quite a few people giving us dinner and we had our friend Don over helping us take down huge limbs with his chain saw. Andy and Don were having fun being dangerous on the big ladder and storage building trimming down more of the tree while it hasn't sprouted its leaves yet. We came home from the hospital a week and half ago to find that our HUGE tree broke a few neighbors fence pieces and there were a bunch of huge branches and little branches all over our yard from the snow storm.

A special thanks once again for Justin and Chelsea, Chris and Sarah, Dave and Roche, and Don. Also thanks to those who have stopped by the hospital and house to see our precious baby girl and giving this lonely new mom some conversation and company. Its amazing how lonely it can get already, mainly because we don't want Alyeska to leave the house for about a month. Yes, we admit we are newly-over protective parents but at least she will have a chance to gain a great start to her immunity system (were just following our doctors advice). Please come over to visit me anytime :) Check out what God has to say about blessing others.

Philippians 2:1-30

So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus..

Wow God let it be less of me and more of you.

Few words about the pictures.

The first one is Don and Andy cutting the tree.

The second one is Alyeska AKA escape artist: doesn't matter how tight we swaddle her she finds her way out. Even though she loves being swaddled. Maybe she likes the challenge.

The third picture shows how sleepy Alyeska is no matter what I do. I'm trying to get her on an eating schedule and the hardest thing is keeping her awake. She is hard at work growing I guess. She pretty much has a very small window of awake time right now. Andy's parents have yet to see her awake on Skype.

Family picture.

Me and baby picture. Andy was jealous that she is wearing I love mommy onesie. She doesn't have a daddy shirt that fits her yet. Thanks Cami for the cute onesie.
