Alyeska got her first package in the mail from her mimi and pop in Georgia. It was so sweet! There was a moving singing rabbit, bunny ears, baby goodnight book, magnet princess picture frame and best of all little booties that Andy's great grandmother made for Andy when he was a baby. So precious! Thanks Mom and Dad :) Not afraid to admit that I will be that sappy mom who will dress her kids up for photo shoots. Infants are pretty impossible to take pictures of with a golden retriever. Alyeska was falling over while Dakota was embarrassed the neighbor dogs might see him in bunny ears.
I can't wait to teach Alyeska what Easter is all about. It is about what our Lord Jesus Christ did for all man kind to redeem us from our wicked ways that we would not be able to do without his perfect blood. We are all born in sin and need His atonement.
Thank you Jesus for trusting Andy and I to raise Alyeska in YOUR will. We turn her completely over to YOU. We can't do it without YOU Jesus. Please guide us every step of the way because we know it will not be easy. Amen.
