Andy and I are so fortunate to have great neighbors that will watch our house and our dogs while we are gone on vacation. Now we are returning the favor and taking our neighbors dogs for about a week. It is quite the adjustment to go from 1 to 3 dogs. They are good dogs except that one of them starts barking at 4 am and scares the us to death, the house smells much more like dog than usual, and they all want to stay inside because it's so hot. Dakota loves playing with the springer spaniel, they wear each other out. Maybe we'll get another dog in a few years so Dakota has a brother.
