I haven't seen my grandpa Geno since I graduated from college which was 2007 (six years ago). He was born and raised in New Mexico and is 87 years old. He was having heart conditions so he came to stay with my parents to be taken care of for awhile to get back to health. He is getting home sick and wants to go back to NM, but he really is enjoying seeing his grandkids and all five of his great grandkids. He only met one before this visit so it has been really nice to see him enjoy the babies. He has great stories of when his parents came to New Mexico from Italy and more stories from his service in the Navy. Andy wants to get some of his stories recorded before he goes back home. I hope we can find the time to do so.
My sister Brittany and her two kids Terran and Belle came to visit us from Washington State just in time for my grandpas visit. We always love seeing them. My parents are loving having all their kids and grandkids in one place. One day we went to the Hill Air Force Base Museum. Grandpa had a great time, and said he would remember this time the rest of his life :)
