You know even though Valentines is a commercialized holiday the message of Valentines is awesome. It's a holiday there to show love for others and not just romantically. Also its not just for girls to get pampered by their man but its also for girls to show their man how much they love them too. My students at school also just love this holiday, but probably mostly for the candy and fun games we play at the end of the day. I had my class decorate their own Valentine boxes at home and I love what they come back with (or I should say what their mom's came up with). :) I had a basket ball hoop box and a big tiger box this year. So cute!
This year I got my husband cheese balls and gave my husband a bunch or reasons why I love him taped under chocolate kisses. Cheesy I know but he liked it and said he is going to read only one a day. I also made a raspberry dessert. Andy made a yummy dinner: shrimp lingenni and stuffed mushrooms. I love when he cooks because its out of the ordinary :) and we also didn't have to wait in a long line at any restaurant.
Wow, that linguini is making my mouth water it looks so good! I did the same thing you did with the kisses a few years ago for Steve. Right before I left for an 11 day vacation I gave him a jar full of chocolate Reisen's candy and taped a note around each one about a reason I loved him! He opened one each day I was gone :) and then others randomly when he wanted a reminder! Glad you day was so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI love the giraffe. We have a few for our little girls room. Although my theme is more of animals in a garden theme. You look great. Not too much longer till you meet your baby girl!
