Halloween

Alyeska helped me hand out candy this Halloween. She was Winny The Poo (cousin's hand me down) during the day, a monkey princess (her pjs) in the afternoon and a chili pepper in the evening (cousin's hand me down). She could have been a frog too (another hand me down), but that's just over doing it. HA HA! Why not? She'll grow out of them next month anyways.

I'm dreaming of a longer fall

I was sooooo happy with this fall. Kira and I went walking the Ogden parkway and it was such a beautiful day on Halloween. The trick-or-treaters had it good this year, at least in Utah. After walking for a bit yesterday, we were able to take off our light jackets. I wish it were like this the rest of November. A girl can dream... as it rains and lightly snows the very next day. I will miss you fall!

Puppy Love

I believe Dakota can make Alyeska smile and laugh more than mommy and daddy. She adores him and she's growing on him.

Southern Family

We must see the whole family when we go to Georgia. Uncle Tim and Aunt Van always make sure we have some southern cooking Ladybug style.

Stair Stepping Burn

When we go to Georgia we eat gooooood. Therefore we gain a few extra pounds, so it was nice to get some thigh burning exercise by climbing 600 steps to the top of a waterfall and seeing some beautiful Georgia trees on the way up Amicolola Falls State Park and then back down again.

Sailing

We went sailing with Andy's dad Steve. It was my first time. Interesting getting the boat out of the water for the season. Didn't go as smooth as one would hope but it was all part of the adventure. Thanks Mimi for staying home with Alyeska!

Launch for Passion 2012

We went to Athen's Church launch for Passion 2012. It felt good to be around a ton of passionate college students, it helped me remember back to when I went to Passion 2003 in Texas and also being a college student. We went to coffee with Charlie Hall to get to know him a little bit and get some mentoring for Andy as a worship pastor. We had a great evening and enjoyed Louie Giglio's message at the event along with worship music by Charlie Hall and Kristian Stanfill. Pop watched Alyeska all evening. Thanks for being such a great babysitter.
